Hi, I’m Tyson, and I’m passionate about health, fitness, and inspiring others to transform their lives. My journey began in 2012 when I found myself weighing 255 pounds, wearing a tight XXL dress shirt, and in need of new jeans to accommodate a 40-inch waist. I knew it was time to make a change.
I started my fitness journey with early morning workouts at Fit Body Boot Camp, showing up at 5 AM before heading to work. By tracking everything I ate using MyFitnessPal and committing to the process, I lost 35 pounds in just three months. Encouraged by this progress, I turned my garage into a home gym and began following Beachbody (now BODi) programs like P90X, Insanity, and Body Beast. These programs helped me reach 195 pounds and shrink my waist to 30 inches, a transformation that felt incredible.
However, life’s ups and downs came into play. I suffered a shoulder injury that put my workouts on hold, and I eventually found myself back at 250 pounds. In 2018, I recommitted to my fitness goals and have since brought my weight down to 210 pounds. My current focus is to lose another 20 pounds while increasing lean muscle mass.
In 2021, despite working out and eating well, I was on several medications for high blood pressure. Seeking a holistic solution, I transitioned to a vegan diet. Within just two months, I was able to eliminate my need for prescriptions. While I have since reintroduced some omnivorous foods into my diet, I keep them limited to only a few times a week to maintain balance and health.
This website is a space to share my journey, the lessons I’ve learned, and the tools that have worked for me.
